Dr. John W. Decorato’s Staten Island facility is conveniently located at 2777 Hylan Boulevard, the corner of Hylan Boulevard and Reno Avenue in the Oakwood section of Staten Island. The office is designed for comfort and convenience in an elegant, private, confidential setting.

The Aesthetic Pavilion Ambulatory Surgery Center is a state of the art office surgery center. The American Association for the Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Centers certifies the surgery center as having met national standards for performing Plastic Surgery procedures including those requiring general anesthesia. This is the first ambulatory surgery center of its kind on Staten Island.

Meet Dr. Decorato

John W. Decorato is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. He completed residency training in Plastic Surgery from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Decorato is also a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the New York Regional Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Northeastern Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Dr. Decorato believes that a well-informed patient, who can actively participate in the discussion about the desired procedure, is a fundamental element of a successful outcome, therefore, he is dedicated to ensuring patients are fully knowledgeable regarding every step of the surgery process.

Using a high-powered laser, Smartlipo™ is a new Laser Body Sculpting procedure with less down time and side effects than traditional liposuction.

SmartLipo's patients need only a local anesthetic for this procedure, whereas liposuction requires general anesthesia. Because the patient is not completely unconscious, SmartLipo carries much fewer risks than traditional liposuction, and the recovery time is much shorter.
